hab ich was falsch verstanden? Folientechnik?
Das sind doch ganz normale gewickelte Pickups mit Magneten.
Man kann Single Coils oder Humbucker wählen.

Wie die auch schreiben, werden billig produzierte Pickups kopiert, die auf Billo-Japan Gitarren aus den Siebzigern verbaut wurden.
Sowas hab ich hier noch rumliegen

Goldfoil bezieht sich doch nur auf die Optik, also die gelochte Folie, die man durch die Öffnungen sieht, oder nicht?

The pickup actually uses cheap rubber magnets—think refrigerator magnets, only fatter. Their wire is 44-gauge, with around 30 percent fewer turns than a Strat pickup. The bobbin is a mere 1/8" tall. But there’s a lot of steel inside, which expands the magnetic field. The pole pieces are adjustable screws to the side of the coil.

The Gold Foil’s magic is rather difficult to quantify, but came about in the first place through the happy accident of a Japanese guitar manufacturer in the mid ’60s simply attempting to concoct a nifty looking pickup that was functional and cheap to manufacture. The formula consists of 44-gauge wire wound around a rubberized ferrite magnet that constitutes one long “polepiece” of sorts, with separate adjustable polepieces to the side, run through a steel bar that widens the magnetic field. On paper, it shouldn’t be anything special, but plugged in—particularly when mounted on a guitar above Teisco grade—it is magical.
